Gary Nogle, NCARB

Gary Nogle was the founding Principal of NOAA Group Architects, in 1982. His philosophy is to provide quality design, Principal engagement in each project, and to commit to meeting every client’s market and economic goals. Gary believes in a strong diversification of work to stimulate staff members and keep NOAA Group current on architectural trends. With over three decades of experience that extends across all sectors of the development environment, Gary has focused on Hospitality, Multifamily, Land Planning, Industrial and Retail.

NOAA’s success is based on the quality of our design, and assurance that the firm is providing relevant design solutions which meet the needs of a constantly changing market and clientele. Gary Nogle believes that our success is based on the principle that repeat client work is imperative and that lasting relations benefit NOAA and our great clients.

NOAA’s reputation for being a valuable team member extends to participation in numerous successful development projects, for which we are very proud. Gary Nogle is a member of the National Council of Architectural Review Boards (NCARB) and alumnus of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with current licensing in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Oklahoma.

Joseph Holasek, AIA, LEED

Joe Holasek is a Principal at NOAA Group and brings over three decades of experience to each project. Joe has practiced in the many facets of Architecture and has managed countless projects. He has developed an expertise in Project Planning, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance, Design and Land Use Entitlements, many of which require diligent work and complex negotiations.

Joe Holasek completed Architecture College at the University of Arizona in Tucson, before moving to San Diego and joining The NOAA Group. He has lived in eight states and two countries and travelled extensively which has influenced his eye for design. Joe is holds a professional membership in the American Institute of Architects.


Jordan Ellis

Jordan Ellis relocated to Southern California, from Ontario, Canada, specifically to join the NOAA Group.  He brings over a decade of experience with projects that spanned across Canada, between Toronto and Ottawa, in the Middle East and in New York City.  Jordan has experience in design, technical production and management on projects ranging in size from small retail and residential renovations to corporate headquarter campuses, hospitals, a university science facility, a federal court house, and multi-unit residential projects in diverse climates.   He possesses a range of knowledge and ability across project all sizes, types, and phases.

A graduate from Carleton University, most recently, Jordan was Principal of Resolv Architecture in Ottawa, Canada, before deciding to relocate to California and join the NOAA Group.

Dan Talant

Dan Talant graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005, with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. In January 2006, Dan began his career at NOAA Group. Dan has developed from a novice Draftsperson to NOAA’s lead Project Manager, and oversees all Construction Documents. Dan brings a keen eye for detail and a remarkable spatial sense, which enables him to take the projects he manages from conceptual ideas to buildings that look great and function well. As importantly, Dan develops concise and understandable drawings for the Contractors, and is unparalleled at developing good relationships with them, and at working collaboratively through every field issue. This sense of detail and creativity consistently meets or exceeds NOAA’s Clients’ expectations, and leads to repeat clientele.
